Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires up to 6 additional years of hospital based surgical and anesthesia training. As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Womack manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. Dr. Womack practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise in corrective jaw surgery and wisdom tooth removal. He can also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries, and performs a full range of dental implant procedures.
Dr. Womack's staff is trained in assisting with I.V. sedation within our state of the art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery. In addition, general anesthesia provided by a board certified anesthesiologist is available within our facility.
The surgical staff at Mark G. Womack, DDS are experienced, certified oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, who assist in administration of I.V. sedation and surgery. We also have a trained registered nurse (RN) to assist in surgery. All staff are informed administrative personnel, well-versed in health and insurance policies and are CPR certified.
